CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. has ordered the immediate relief from their posts three policemen allegedly involved in a robbery incident in Olongapo City.

A couple claimed they were mulcted of at least P2,000,000.

A detainee at the Olongapo City District Jail said the perpetrators were allegedly three members of the Olongapo City police, who forced the detainee’s live-in partner to give to them the G-Cash pin number while they were inside a black sports utility vehicle.

The complainant said when the accused cops found out the G-Cash account was empty, the policemen allegedly coerced the victims into revealing the location of their money and illegal drugs (shabu) in exchange for the release of the detainee.

Under duress, the live-in-partner said their money is being kept at their residence in Bgy. New Cabalan, Olongapo City.

The policemen asked if their residence has CCTV cameras, but the live-in partner fearing for her safety, told the cops their house is not equipped with surveillance cameras.

Upon hearing this, the cops proceeded to the victims’ house.

After two hours, the three policemen returned to their vehicle, carrying a bag.

Later, the victims’ relatives went to the Olongapo City Police Station 4 to file a complaint about the missing P1,000,000 cash, 11 pairs of shoes, a Rolex watch worth at least P1,000,000, and groceries worth P25,000.

It was noted that the cops entered the victims’ house without a search warrant.

The alleged robbery occurred on September 5.

Hidalgo instructed the Olongapo City police chief to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident to prove if the accused cops are guilty or not.
