Young man yields half a kilo of MJ
TIAONG, Quezon – Police on Saturday arrested a young man for selling more than a half a kilo of dried marijuana leaves during a drug buy-bust operation in Bgy. Lumingon, this town.
Quezon police director Col. Ledon Monte said Charles Yansy Limbo, 22, of Umali St, Bgy. Poblacion 3, was caught with shabu by operatives of the Tiaong Police Station under Lt. Col. Marlon Cabataña.
Monte said the suspect, who is included in the list of “high-value” individuals, yielded 13 self-sealing transparent plastic bags and a bigger one containing 536.9 grams of dried marijuana leaves with a street value of P193,284.
Five P1, 000 bills used by the police as mark money and a weighing scale were also recovered.
The suspect was taken to Tiaong Municipal Hospital for medical examination before he was detained at the lock up jail.
