UNBEKNOWNST to the majority, the office of Tingog Party-list, led by Representative Yedda Marie K. Romualdez, continues to extend help to people who are in need.

In partnership with the Marcos administration, Cong. Romualdez, wife of Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez, has been tirelessly helping people, who have been affected by various types of calamities.

Just recently, they distributed P3,000 each in cash assistance to 600 oil spill victims in Oriental Mindoro.

The Tingog partylist also extended help to victims of other disasters such as floods in the Visayas and Mindanao and even large fires in different parts of the country.

“We just want to help those who are in need. Sabihin na natin na we are just sharing our blessings,” Rep. Romualdez said.

The Tingog, with the cooperation of the Office of the Speaker, also sent $100,000 financial assistance to those people affected by a strong earthquake that hit Turkey a few months ago.

Aside from this, they also distributed financial help to some 1,653 families in Davao de Oro, who were affected by an earthquake recently.

Rep. Romualdez added: “We know the amount of assistance does not really cover the damage caused by disasters. But we hope it alleviates a little our citizens’ plight in times of need.”
