Imus Mayor ‘AA’ tests positive for COVID
IMUS CITY, Cavite – Newly sworn Mayor Alex “AA” Advincula announced on his official social media page that he caught COVID-19 two days after he was sworn in as mayor of the said city, July 2, 2022.
According to his staff, Mayor AA tested “positive” after taking an RT-PCR test.
Advincula apologized to those he met and encouraged them to conduct self-quarantine so as not to infect more.
The Imus City mayor also urged fellow Imuseños to observe health protocols and get vaccinations and booster shots against COVID-19 for their protection.
Imus City has 45 active cases and 26,593 confirmed cases as of July 1, 2022, according to the bulletin of the Provincial Health Office.
