Girl, 7, raped, killed, stuffed in sack
A SEVEN-YEAR-OLD girl allegedly raped by a fellow minor was found dead and stuffed in a sack in Pila, Laguna.
The victim, whose name was withheld, was a resident of Bgy. Masico in Pila town.
According to the victim’s mother, she last saw her daughter playing outside their house on Monday afternoon.
“Naglalaro lang siya tapos bigla na lang nawala.,” the mother said.
The family looked for the victim and was shocked to find her dead in a sack at a bushy area in the barangay at 8 p.m. on the same day.
According to the child’s father, there was an indication that her daughter, who was found to have injuries in the different parts of her body, was raped.
“Ginawa nila baboy ang anak ko. Ang mata puno ng lupa. Wala pa siyang shorts, the grieving father said.
The alleged suspect was a 14-year-old boy who reportedly had bad records in the village.
“Madami na reklamo sa suspect, malikot ang kamay, magnanakaw ng mga gamit,” a resident told a television interview.
The victim’s family is crying for justice. “Ang gusto ko mangyari sa may gawa, maparusahan habambuhay,” according to the victim’s father.
“Hindi kami titigil hanggang mabulok sa kulungan ang gumawa,” the mother added.
The young suspect was arrested in a follow-up operation. He is now in the custody of the Pila Department of Social Welfare and Development Office.
