Piolo zero pa rin ang lovelife?
PIOLO Pascual is in his element now.
Kahit zero ang love life niya (as he claims), boom na boom naman ang kanyang showbiz career. He’s been busy promoting his movie, ‘Mallari’, one of the official entries to this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival. Piolo is very active and visible in promoting his movie. Sinasabayan niya ang ingay ng pelikula. The movie seems to have spent heavily on its promotion and publicity.
‘Mallari’ is a fictional movie based on the intriguing story of Fr. Juan Severino Mallari, a 19th century priest during the Spanish occupation. He is considered to be the first documented serial killer in Philippine history. Mukhang magiging patok sa takilya ang nasabing pelikula dahil sa intriguing story nito. Based on MMFF records, horror movies are always on the list of Top 4 grossers. Kaya inaasahan na makikipagpukpukan sa takilya ang nasabing pelikula.
Luck seems to be on Piolo’s side this year. Tinanghal siya bilang Entertainer of the Year sa 36th Aliw Awards kamakailan. Piolo headlined the musical ‘Ibarra’ which gave him his acting award in theater. Will his winning streak continue at the MMFF, capping off the year with a filmfest’s Best Actor trophy? Just asking…
