PBBM kinilala si PRRD sa phase 1 ng Davao City Coastal Bypass Road
KINILALA ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. si dating Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte sa pagtapos sa unang yugto ng Davao City Coastal Bypass Road (DCCBR).
Kasabay nito ay inatasan ni Pangulong Marcos ang Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) na tiyakin na matatapos sa tamang oras ang iba pang bahagi ng proyekto.
“Before anything, let me recognize the Vice President’s presence…today and who has decided to join us to see the fruition of a program, a project that started during her mayor incumbency,” ani Pangulong Marcos s aknayang talumpati sa inagurasyon at pagbubukas ng DCCBR.
“Also, of extreme importance to the completion of this project, we must acknowledge my predecessor, someone who was a central part, instrumental, central part to bringing us here today, the former president, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte,” sabi pa ng Pangulo.
Kinilala rin ng Pangulo ang mga tauhan ng DPWH na nagtulong-tulong upang magawa ang proyekto gayundin sa Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
“Everything that we have done so far—and everything that we will do from this point onwards—will all be instrumental in our collective leap forward and upward. I call on the DPWH and everyone involved in this and in all the other infrastructure projects: The work needs to be done,” ani Pangulong Marcos.
“Strive to finish the remaining segments and let us do it within schedule so that our people may reap and truly enjoy the maximum benefits of your hard work,” sabi pa nito.
Nagsimula ang groundwork n proyekto noong 2017.
Ang unang yugto ay may habang walong kilometro. Ang kabuuan ng proyekto ay mahigit 17 kilometro na tatakbo mula Bago Aplaya hanggang Times Beach. Ito ay bahagi ng Philippine High Standard Highway Network.
