PRESIDENTIAL frontrunner and Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, joined by Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna and Congressman Yul Servo, led the lighting of the historic Quezon Bridge in Ermita, in a continuing effort to better serve motorists and pedestrians.

Moreno thanked city electrician Randy Sadac and city engineer Armand Andres for the effort, which he said is part of the city government’s continuing program to lit up the streets of Manila.

The Aksyon Demokratiko standard bearer said that with bright lights donning the streets, it is hoped that criminal elements will be dissuaded from carrying out their illegal activities.

Among the major lighting projects of the city since Moreno assumed office are the stretch of Roxas Boulevard, Taft Avenue and Espana Boulevard, Moreno added.
