GENERAL TRIAS CITY, Cavite. – Aimed to addressed the traffic congestion along Tejero junction that traversing GenTri, Rosario town and Tanza, Property giant Megaworld opened its roads to the public inside their 140-hectare Maple Grove township in Barangay Tejero in partnership with the City Government
of General Trias and the Municipality of Tanza in alleviating traffic in the area, Tuesday, July 25, 2023.

According to Mayor Luis ‘Jon Jon’ Ferrer IV, This diversion road will reduce around 30 percent of the volume of traffic along Tejero Junction especially during rush hour, its a 6 years in the making projects, finally here we are opening it to motorists.

“This is what the private-public partnership can do for the continued growth of the economy of the city of General Trias and the entire province of Cavite. This wagon road will not only benefit the people of General Trias, but also the towns of Tanza, Naic, Maragondon, Ternate and Batangas.” Mayor Jon jon’ Ferrer IV said in his interview.

Megaworld through its Maple Grove township opens portions of its six-lane, 30-meter wide Maple Grove Boulevard from Barangay Bacao to
be integrated into the 12-kilometer General Trias and Tanza Bypass Road, then traverses Tejero and San Juan, before leading directly to the Malabon Grande Bridge in Tanza, Cavite.

It was inaugurated in partnership with the local governments of General Trias City and Tanza, as well as the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla and Kevin Tan together with Vice Governor Athena Tolentino, Mayor Ferrer, Tanza Mayor Yuri Pacumio, Congressman Antonio Ferrer, Congressman Crispin Diego Remulla of 7th District, Cvite, Board Member Abeng Remulla representing Justice Secretary Crispin ‘Boying’ Remulla and Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Regional Director Jovel Mendoza led the tour of the 12 kilometer road.
