Food delivery rider dies in Batangas road mishap
A 41-YEAR-OLD food delivery rider died after his motorcycle accidentally fell into a pit along the Governor Carpio provincial road, in Bgy. San Jose Sico, Batangas City, on Sunday morning.
Batangas City Police Station investigators PSMS Carmelo A. Caraig and Pat Joey M. Busa identified the fatality as Christian Rodave De Guzman, married, a Food Panda rider/driver, resident of Bgy. Mapulo, Taysan, Batangas.
Initial investigations showed that De Guzman was seen driving a black Honda Beat motorcycle (858 UJV) and traversing Taysan on or about 1:30 a.m. on August 7.
De Guzman hit the road reblocking warning and fell into the pit. He was declared dead on arrival at the Batangas Medical Hospital.
