Ex-sexy actress nabbed in QC drug bust
POLICEMEN arrested a former sexy actress and his companion during an anti-drug operation which started in Quezon City and ended in Manila on Wednesday night.
Katrina Santos, 34, also known as Kat de Santos when she was still a member of the Baywalk Bodies, and Fidel Samson Jr., 58, were reportedly wounded in an alleged shootout with anti-narcotics officers of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) in Barangay Salvacion at around 10:30 p.m. that yielded around 120 grams of shabu with a street value of P816,000.
Santos and Samson allegedly negotiated a deal with an undercover police officer for a pack of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu when they sensed it was a drug bust.
The duo escaped on board a Toyota Fortuner sports utility vehicle. They pulled out handguns and opened fire at the policemen and a running gun battle ensued.
The suspects reportedly rammed several motorcycles parked along a road, including one which went under their vehicle.
