MORE than P1.3 million worth of shabu was seized by authorities from four drug personalities in a buy-bust operation Wednesday evening in Muntinlupa City.

Southern Police District (SPD) Director P/BGen. Jimili Macaraeg identified the arrested suspects as Glenn De Guzman, 38, Mayline Rodolfo, 41, Anthony Pasion, 39 and Christopher Bayangos, 20, all residents of Muntinlupa City.

The suspects were arrested by operatives of Muntinlupa Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) in a drug sting operation conducted at around 9:40 p.m. at Garcip Compound, Brgy. Cupang.

Lawmen seized from the suspects a total of 200 grams of shabu with standard drug price of P1,360,000.00 and the marked money being used in a buy-bust.

SDEU chief P/Maj. Peter Aquino said the suspects were presented for inquest proceedings before the Muntinlupa City Prosecutor’s Office on charges for violation of Sec 5 & 11, Art II of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.

“Binabati ko ang ating mga kapulisan sa Muntinlupa sa pagkadakip ng mga suspek at pagkakumpiska ng milyong halaga ng hinihinalang shabu. Sa ilalim ng aking panunungkulan ay hindi ko hahayaang gawing pugad ng ilegal na aktibidad ang Katimugang Metro. Kami po ay hindi titigil bagkus mas palalawigin pa namin ang aming operasyon nang sa gayon ay mapagtagumpayan natin ang labang ito”, Macaraeg said.
