Ecija town’s most wanted for rape arrested
TALAVERA, Nueva Ecija — This town’s topmost wanted felon was nabbed during Oplan “Manhunt Charlie” operations conducted here on Friday.
Town police head Lt. Col. Heryl “Daguit” Bruno said the arrested suspect identified as Ronald San Antonio, 23, single, of Bgy. Campos, this town did not resist arrest when his men served the arrest warrant for rape with no bail recommended at his hideout in Bgy. Malasin, Sto. Domingo at 11:20 a.m. Friday.
Bruno said the suspect’s arrest was carried out after the warrant section got hold of his arrest warrant on July 13, the same day it was issued by Regional Trial Court Judge Anarica J. Castillo-Reyes, of the RTC Branch 88, Baloc, Sto. Domingo.
He said the suspect is now locked up behind bars at the detention facility here for proper disposition.
