CAMP Gen. Miguel C. Malvar, Batangas – Authorities on Thursday arrested two of the most wanted persons (MWP) charged with other forms of rape and statutory rape during an operation in Batangas and Tanauan cities, Police Public Information Office OIC P/Lt Mary Anne De Villa Espina said.
A report to Batangas Provincial Director PCOL Glicerio C. Cansilao by Batangas City Police Station commander Lt. Col Gerry M. Laylo said the suspect was identified as Michael Tolentino y Morillo.
Morillo, ranked as No. 10 MWP in the regional level for the crime of other forms of rape and statutory rape, was arrested at Purok 2, Bgy. Dalig, Batangas City last July 15 at 1:20 p.m.
According to Lt. Col Ariel B. Azurin, the chief of the Tanauan City Police Station, they also arrested the wanted suspect identified as Alyas Solvin charged with statutory rape for two counts.
Solvin, according to Azurin, ranks as No. 2 MWP in the provincial level and was captured by joint forces of the Tanauan City Police Station together with the Sen. Ninoy Aquino Municipal Police Station Police Regional Office (PRO) 12 and PRO 12 during an operation at Sitio Dayapan, Bgy. BilogBilog, Tanauan City, Batangas around 4:12 pm last July 15.
