EVERYDAY is movie time at Vivamax which can make films faster than the director shout CUT. One offering is ‘Sarap Mong Patayin,’ a brainchild of Darryl Yap whom Sharon Cuneta adores working with in the film, ‘Revirginized.’ She calls him a genius. ‘Sarap Mong Patayin’ is about catfishing in social media starring certified hunk Kit Thompson, Ariella, Arida and Lassy Marquez. Lassy’s scene kissing the nipple of Kit is a big come-on for the members of the LGBT community.

There’s now a new Pantasya ng Bayan in the person of Ariella, a former beauty queen. ‘Sarap mong Patayin’ shall reveal why she is considered as one.

HOST/ comedian Willy Revillame must have come to his senses when he announced in his show that he is not running for senator in the May elections. He cited the reasons why he is begging off.

He said “I am not well-versed speaking English. Wala akong alam sa batas at baka laitin lang ako. Hindi ko kaya ang mga bangayan.”

Very valid reasons earning Willy the respect and admiration of many. Indeed a wise decision. He also adds how fulfilled he is as a TV show host. “Maligaya ako sa aking ginagawa araw-araw at nakikita kong napapaligaya ko rin ang televiewers.

New music alerts

ON the record scene are the following new music alerts.

Adie hollers his dismay of the pandemic’s aftermath to everyone’s social sanity on his latest track, “Sawa na.” Here, he conflated a funky, alternative pop beat with a dash of techno sounds to the irony of the lonesome lyricism. The song’s groovy beats intend to keep a lonely person company to convey that someone hears and feels you.

Marion Aunor continues her tale as OST Queen with another official soundtrack entitled “Sarap Mong Patayin” for Vivamax’s new movie with the same title. Marion’s new techno sound is evident on the heaps of the shady verses of an obsessive and fierce love affair. Here, she displaces a thriller vibe on the beats of the drum and keyboard tunes reverberating Marion’s sexy heaves and chuckles with a dash of sinister intentions.

Louise Sanchez corroborates her spin to “Wala Ka Na,” written by This Band’s songwriter, Euwie Von Loria. The pop ballad track is inspired by the movie “A Star is Born” soundtrack of a tragic story of losing someone you love at the peak of your success. Here, Louise’s poignant voice perfectly harmonized with the orchestral sound with a dash of contemporary beats.

The breathtaking oddity of mrld’s voice will make you wander into her world of “Ligaya,” her latest pop track. Here, she leads you on an acoustic tune and her sedating voice in a rolling wheel of emotions. The song’s mellow beats underpin the bittersweet story of intense but unexpressed love for someone who doesn’t exist anymore. –REMY UMEREZ
