Woman stabbed with icepick, hit with gas tank
DASMARIÑAS CITY, Cavite — A woman landed in the hospital after she was stabbed with an icepick and hit with a Super Kalan Tank, Wednesday, July 13, 2022 in Brgy. Paliparan 3 here.
Police identified the victim as Catherine Logronio, resident of Blk 179, Lot 17, Phase 4, Brgy. Paliparan 3, Dasmariñas City, Cavite.
Police arrested the suspect who surrendered after the incident. The suspect also lived in the same address as the victim.
PMsg George Fajardo Jr. gathered from the victim’s sister that the victim and suspect were arguing when the incident happened.
The suspect allegedly hit the victim’s head with a gas tank then stabbed her repeatedly with an icepick.
The victim’s brother sought help from neighbors and rushed her to the Dasmarinas Hospital.
Upon police follow -up, the suspect voluntarily surrendered to operatives of Dasmariñas PNP.
