Truck helper stabs bully’s neck
FILLED up of being bullied by his co-worker, a 34-year-old truck helper stabbed and wounded his collegue Sunday before dawn in Malabon City.
Christian Borja, alias “Ogag”, 28, truck helper and native of Buhi, Camarines Sur was rushed by his co-workers to Ospital ng Malabon before he was transferred to Tondo Medical Center for further medical attention and treatment due to stab wound in the neck.
Malabon police chief P/Col. Albert Barot said personnel of Sub-Station-2 who responded to the area arrested the suspect identified as Ruben Layosa, native of Brgy. Taisan, Daet, Camarines Norte, who was still reeking of alcohol.
Police recovered from the suspect a pointed crowbar he used in stabbing and seriously injuring the victim.
Malabon police homicide investigators P/SSgt. Mardelio Osting and P/Cpl. Renz Marlon Baniqued said that earlier, the victim and the suspect, along with their co-workers, were having a drinking session inside a trucking yard located at 20 Carbonium St. Goldendale Subdivision, Brgy. Tinajeros Saturday evening that lasted until the wee hours of the morning.
At around 3:45 a.m. while the victim and his co-workers were playing cards inside their barracks, the suspect, armed with a pointed crowbar barged inside and stabbed Borja, hitting him in the neck.
Layosa told police investigators that he stabbed the victim because he was filled up of Ogag’s constant bullying.
