Silang marks Children’s Month celebration
SILANG, Cavite Mayor Kevin Anarna eagerly participated in the youth program of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development (MSWD) here for the Children’s Month celebration with the theme “Kalusugan, Kaisipan at Kapakanan ng Bawat Bata ay Tutukan.”
Apart from the physical fitness of the youth, The Silang MSWD also pays attention to the mental health of the growing children, especially in today’s time where the whole world has experienced various types of depression caused by the pandemic they experienced.
The said occasion, celebrated every November, is in accordance with Republic Act (RA) No. 10661, or “An Act Declaring November of Every Year as National Children’s Month.”
“As we continue to adjust to the new normal, please expect that the Silang City Government will continue to be a partner in the advancement and care of Silangueño children,” said Anarna.
