Outstanding NCR cops get medals

NATIONAL Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) director, Major General Vicente D. Danao Jr. this week pinned medals and presented awards to members of the Metro Manila police who have made significant contributions to their campaign against criminality and corruption as well as their effort to help put an end to the decades-long communist insurgency.

Among those who were awarded for their exemplary performance in manhunt operations were Majors Maynard D. Pascual and Karlo Eden L. Mahinay, Staff Sergeant Jonathan O. Dingalasan and Corporals Franciz Nazareth M. Gabon and Rad B. Dranto of the NCRPO Regional Special Operations Group.

On the other hand, members of the NCRPO Regional Personnel Records and Management Division led by Captain Eleno J. Ilustrisimo, Lieutenant Josephine C. Angawa, Executive Master Sergeants Amy V. Garingan and Ryan G. Valle, Senior Master Sgt. Rudy B. Gahar, Staff Sgt. Reynald P. Dizon, Corporals Joan Rio G. Briones and Nieves L. Wacangan and Non-Uniformed Personnel Mary Cris S. Motas were cited for their role in the early resolution of 3,330 NCRPO administrative cases from January 2020 to date.

Danao also cited Colonel Albert T. Barot of the Malabon City Police Station and his men, Lt. Aibeth F. Agramon, Lt. Lalaine G. Almosa and PEMS Jovi S. Lazaro and Gilbert B. Montero for their effort to organize the NCRPO SIBOL Consumers’ Cooperative in Bgy. Catmon aimed at helping provide livelihood training for local residents.

Others were Col. Benliner L. Capili of the Marikina City Police Station, SSgt. Vilma C. Bilog, SMSgt. Marinet F. Framos, Patrolman Charryflor L. Gula, Lt. Mark Angelo R. Bucad, SSgt. Levie C. Licaros, Patrolman Milbert A. Bautista, Mariano C. Villanueva Jr., Feliciano G. Rosadiño III and Francis P. Ravelo.
