THE Supreme Court has announced the suspension of all court work on April 21, Friday, in observance of the Eid’l Fitr (Feast of Ramadan) holiday.

This comes following President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s Proclamation No. 201, which declares April 21 as a regular holiday throughout the country in recognition of the occasion.

Marcos stated that the holiday aims to emphasize the religious and cultural significance of Eid’l Fitr and to promote unity and harmony among Filipinos, including their Muslim brethren.

The celebration marks the end of the month-long fasting period of Ramadan, during which Muslims fast from dawn to dusk.
