CALOOCAN City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan ordered all the city frontliners to be on heightened alert, especially the local police force, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), and Public Safety and Traffic Management Department (PSTMD) in preparation for the nationwide commemoration of this year’s Holy Week.

Mayor Along wanted them to prioritize peace and order and in assisting the public, especially in areas that are expected to experience a heavy influx of people.

The local chief executive likewise called on barangay officials to ensure the safety of their locality during the Holy Week and encouraged the general public to cooperate with city authorities to prevent untoward incidents.

“We aim for a zero-crime rate Caloocan during the Holy Week.
