SINGING sensation Katrina Velarde who married American drummer Mike Shapiro in an intimate wedding last May in Tagaytay City is back with a catchy track “Sa Panaginip” showcasing her versatility and edgy vocals. .She takes a new direction by engaging her listeners with her rap and R&B tunes.

‘Sa Panaginip,’ which brings deep emotions about longing to someone’s presence desperately, was penned by Thyro Alfaro, Ivan Lee Espinos, Marvin Querido and husband Mike Shapiro. Kat likes the song because it is full of positivenes and is danceable.

Kat and Mike are both artists and has good working relationship. Her dream of having a family came true when she met Mike a few years back. The couple will soon release ‘Sa Dulo ay Ikaw,’ a wedding song inspired by their own experience. On the planning stage is a digital concert with three other singers scheduled for August.

As for married life, Kat says “everyday is a bliss.”
