SAN LEONARDO, Nueva Ecija – An unidentified helmet-wearing man disguised as a customer inquiring about a motorcycle held up at gunpoint a local branch of a multi-brand motorcycle (MC) dealer, carting away some P81,000 in cash and four mobile phones along with his motorcycle-riding cohort in a day-light robbery perpetrated here on Thursday morning, September 8, 2022.

Robbed was the Yamaha-Wheeltek branch along Maharlika Highway in Bgy. Diversion at 10:30 a.m. here, said town police head, Major Jaime Ferrer.

“May suspect na kami pero kasalukuyang tina-track down pa namin ung kasing cp [cellphone] na kinuha ng mga suspect parang pumipitik,” said Ferrer in his text message to the Journal Group Friday.

Initial investigation showed the unidentified robber, wearing a black helmet, black/violet long sleeves, and black pants entered the store branch and approached the counter to inquire.

However, he suddenly took out his gun and threatened the lady cashier to open the steel vault at gunpoint.

After which, he carted away the P81,000 inside the vault and four mobile phones of the employees before fleeing aboard a Black Bajaj motorcycle being driven by another cohort.

Police are still conducting follow-up operations about the robbery.
