Factory worker collared for ‘rape’ in Batangas

JOINT operatives captured a 31-year-old factory production worker charged with rape around 9:45 a.m. the other day in Bgy. Tambo, Lipa City, Batangas.

Lipa City Police Station (CPS) Chief Lt. Col Rix S. Villareal said the suspect is one of the “most wanted persons” (MWPs) at the provincial level, a native of Iriga City, and presently residing at Bgy. Bugtong na Pulo, Lipa City.

PSSg. Celso T. Cuevas said joint elements of the Lipa City PS, 403rd Regional Mobile Force Batallion (RMFB) 4A, and 1st Batangas Provincial Mobile Force Company (BPMFC) conducted an operation that resulted in the arrest of the accused through reliable information provided by Barangay Intelligence Network (BIN) asset.

The suspect has a warrant of arrest generated at the E-Warrant system issued on July 25 by Presiding Judge Maria Concepcion Marinay Serrano-Altea of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 12, of Lipa City with no bail recommended.
