Delivery boy yields P2M shabu in Quezon

LUCENA CITY – Police on Wednesday arrested a delivery boy of mineral water following the confiscation of two million pesos worth of illegal drugs at Purok Camia, Bgy 10, this city.

Suspect Gerald Dalumpienes alias “Gerald,” 27, of Purok Bagong Silang, Bgy. Cotta was caught with shabu during a drug buy-bust, said Col. Ledon Monte, the Quezon police director.

Monte said Dalumpienes is included in the list of “high-value” individuals.

City police chief Lt. Col. Ericson Roranes said the suspect yielded 18 pieces of heat- sealed plastic sachets containing 91.66 grams of shabu with a street value of around P2-million, and three marked P1,000 bills.

Roranes said the operation was conducted with the help of operatives of the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.

In the past two weeks, a number of suspected drug pushers have been arrested by the city police force resulting in the confiscation of millions in pesos worth of illegal drugs.
