Another Concepcion gang member arrested
ANOTHER member of the Concepcion Gang in Sto. Tomas City in Batangas has been captured by agents of the Philippine National Police Intelligence Group (PNP-IG), the Journal Group learned Saturday.
Suspect Jojo Enulba, 54, was tracked down in Brgy. San Isidro Norte in Sto. Tomas City by members of the Regional Intelligence Unit 4-A, said PNP Intelligence Group director Brigadier General Romeo J. Macapaz.
He said that an intelligence provided by the Laguna Provincial Intelligence Team enabled the police to arrest Enulba at around 7:30 p.m. last February 28.
Macapaz said the accused of murder issued by Judge Ignacio Barcillano Jr. of the Ligao City Regional Trial Court Branch 13 in Albay.
A record check showed that the suspect joined the Concepcion Gang in 2015 to seek protection as he was then involved in a criminal activity in Calamba City.
The accused was tagged in the killing of the deputy chief of Libon Municipal Police Station in Albay.
The suspect was believed to have left the group in 2016 and went to work in construction sites in Baguio City and Batangas.
