3 drug suspects yield P400K shabu in Angeles City

CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Authorities collared three high-value targets and seized over P400,000 worth of shabu on Tuesday in an entrapment operation in Angeles City.

In a report to PRO3 (Police Regional Office 3) Director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay, Angeles City Police Chief Col. Diosdado Fabian said members of the Angeles City Drug Enforcement Unit (ACDEU), Police Station 2, CMFC, and TMRU ACPO conducted a buy-bust operation on 1st Street, Plaridel 2, Bgy. Amsic, Angeles City, which resulted in the arrest of three suspects.

Recovered were five plastic sachets of shabu weighing at least 60 grams valued at P408,000 and the marked money.

The three suspects will be charged with violating Section 11 Article 11 of Republic Act 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

“Your police here in Central Luzon will have no let-up on our ‘crackdown’ on all forms of lawlessness, especially illegal drugs amid the pandemic,” Baccay said.
