2 MWPs fall in San Leonardo

SAN LEONARDO, Nueva Ecija – Police collared two most wanted persons (MWPs) with pending arrest warrants for estafa and reckless imprudence resulting in damage to property issued by the local courts in Quezon City and this town.

The suspects were from Bgy. Mallorca, and Bgy. Mambangnan, both from San Leonardo town.

Police head Major Jaime Ferrer said the duo was nabbed in separate manhunt operations conducted on Monday in Bgys. Mallorca and Mambangnan at 10:20 a.m. and 9 a.m., respectively.

The suspect from Bgy. Mallorca was captured by an arrest order issued by Quezon City Metropolitan Trial Court (MTC) Branch 135 dated April 25, 2002, with recommended bail of P3,000.

The second suspect was nabbed based on a warrant issued June 8, 2022, by Judge Dante Gil D. Gumpal of Municipal Trial Court, San Leonardo, with bail set at P18,000.

Ferrer said both arrested suspects are now locked up in jail for proper disposition.
