TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite – The provincial government of Cavite under Governor Juanito Victor “Jonvic” Remulla Jr., thru the Cavite Tourism Office, led by Rozelle Sangalang and in partnership with the Department of Tourism (DOT) Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) conducted “Accreditation on Wheels”, Thursday, September 22, 2022, at the Ceremonial Hall, Cavite Provincial Capitol Building.

Around 28 primary and secondary tourism enterprises in the province registered for the said program “on wheels” to avail of the opportunity for online assistance and technical support to intensify national standards certification.

A mobile accreditation process like this aims to boost the provincial tourism sector and provide a convenient venue where local tourism and leisure establishments can apply and process their DOT accreditation.

On the said program, owners and operators of tourist inns, hotels, resorts, and spas, including tourist land transport operators, agri-tourism farms/sites, travel and tour agency, restaurant, and tourism recreation center, can register.

Among those accredited by DOT are Monte Alta Restaurant, The Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club, Viewpoint, Ternate Beach, Mariche Apartelle, Zamiro Resort, Kampo Berde, Tanza Oasis Hotel and Resort, Cavite State U, 83 Sabang, Perlas ng Silang, Peterlynn’s Private Resort, S&J Sweet Escape Travel and Tours, Sun Glory, GPJ Travel and Tours, Aica Chan Travels, World2Go Travels, and Tanza LGU (local government unit).

Likewise, the Cavite Tourism Office also encouraged practicing tour guides to apply for their DOT accreditation.

Cavite, one of the nearest complete destinations from Manila, boasts complete leisure destinations that meet tourist preferences for amusement and adventure, beach, family-oriented gatherings, food cravings, or a taste for luxury in vacation or holiday escapades.
