Tingog Asenso Quinto Sports Complex soon to rise in Iloilo
IN promoting health, wellness, and athletic excellence among children, Tingog Partylist Representative and Committee on Accounts Chairperson Yedda Romualdez, led the groundbreaking ceremony of Tingog Asenso Quinto Sports Complex in Northern Iloilo State University (NISU) – Sara Campus, Iloilo, on April 27, 2024.
Phase I of this project includes the construction of multipurpose building with a 3,000-square meter stadium, 400-meter field track, and 10,300-square meter football court, funded by the Tingog Partylist, in joint effort with Team Asenso led by Iloilo, 5th District Representative Boboy Tupas, and Iloilo, 5th District Provincial Board Member Binky Tupas.
This is the first and biggest sports complex in Iloilo, thus, aiming to be the voice (Tingog) of progress (Asenso) for aspiring sports enthusiast to represent the country in bigger fields.
Likewise, this will serve as a venue not just for sports, but also for recreational activities, community gatherings, cultural events, and other social activities, further enhancing the overall well-being of the whole province.
