1 killed, 1 hurt in Bulacan gun attacks

A MAN on Monday was killed while another was seriously injured in separate gun attacks in Bulacan.

In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., the Bulacan police identified the fatality as Fernando Lasco, 55, a native of Candaba, Pampanga and a resident of Bgy. Siling Bata, Pandi.

The injured was Marvin Modesto, 34, a native of Parañaque and a resident of 1355 Unit 4 Cordero Bgy. Lambakin, Marilao.

Lasco was on a tricycle when shot two times by an unidentified suspect who fled on foot.

Lasco died on the spot.

In Bgy. Lambakin, Marilao, factory worker Modesto, 34, of 1355 Unit 4 Cordero, Bgy. Lambakin, was shot in the head.

Modesto was playing online game on his cellphone outside his house when a man armed with a gun suddenly appeared and shot him twice in the head before fleeing.

The victim was rushed to Bulacan Medical Center by the Barangay Lambakin Rescue Team.

Pursuit operations are ongoing to arrest the suspects in the gun attacks.
