POLICE on Wednesday arrested a 38-year-old wanted murder suspect shortly after he arrived in the country from Hanoi, Vietnam, Philippine National Police Aviation Security Group director Brigadier General Christopher N. Abrahano said yesterday.

Members of the Aviation Security Unit-National Capital Region under Colonel Arnel J. Apud took custody of the suspect shortly after he disembarked from a plane that landed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 from Hanoi.

The PNP-ASG officers were assisted by operatives from the San Carlos City Police Station and the NAIA Police Station 3 in serving a warrant of arrest for murder and frustrated murder issued against the accused by Pangasinan Judge Rusty Naya.

The judge recommended no bail for the temporary liberty of the accused in connection with the murder case on January 9, 2018. However, he recommended a P200,000 bail for the suspect for the frustrated murder case slapped on him.
