TWO of the Premier Volleyball League’s biggest stars have found their new home.

Myla Pablo has transferred from PetroGazz to F2 Logistics, while Dindin Santiago-Manabat went to Akari for a new beginning.

Sports management agency Virtual Playground made the announcement on Pablo’s move to the Cargo Movers yesterday.

The Chargers, through their social media account, formally made it official Santiago-Manabat’s transfer to the PVL’s newest member.

According to Pablo, the move to F2 Logistics is something that she needed for her personal growth.

“This coming year, papasok ako sa taon na may bagong team and family,” said the 29-year-old spiker out of Tarlac, who spent the last two seasons with the Angels.

“My decision to transfer sa F2 was mainly driven dahil gusto ko mag-grow pa sa career.”

Pablo is one of the most decorated spikers in the league, having won championships for the now defunct Pocari Sweat and PetroGazz and 2017 and 2022 Reinforced Conference, respectively. She is also a two-time Conference MVP.

For the first time in six years, Santiago-Manabat will have a new club in the Chargers.

The 6-foot-2 Santiago-Manabat won a title with her younger sister Jaja for Chery Tiggo in 2021 Open Conference in the Bacarra, Ilocos Norte bubble.

After an impressive showing in the last year’s Open Conference, Santiago-Manabat suffered an ankle injury, sitting out the entire Invitationals and playing sparingly in the Reinforced Conference, where the Cavite native also entered the health and safety protocols that caused her to miss some matches.

Santiago-Manabat’s leadership, intensity and top notch skills is what Akari can expect as it eyes to improve its seventh place finish in the previous conference.

The Chargers also have their newest member in Camille Victoria.

A former University of Santo Tomas starter, the 6-foot-1 Victoria has decided to turn professional and forego her final year of UAAP women’s volleyball eligibility to play for Akari.

Victoria will shore up the Chargers’ middle blocker position, where she is expected to man the wall with fellow youngsters Krich Macaslang and Ezra Madrigal.
