Silang to give free school bags, supplies
SILANG, Cavite – Silang Mayor Kevin Anarna announced that the incoming batch for the school year 2022-2023, from Kindergarten to Grade 6 in public schools, will receive free bags and school supplies.
“Everything will be given. In addition to that, those studying in day care centers will receive school supplies,” said Anarna on his official Facebook page on Thursday, July 28, 2022.
“Because of our campaign of no SOP [Standard Operating Procedure] and no corruption policy in our administration, we are saving a lot on the prices of contracts and supplies,” the Silang mayor pointed out.
Silang has 64 barangays and 29 public elementary schools, and ten public high schools to be opened for blended learning on August 22, 2022, and face-to-face classes on November 2022.
