Private tutor butchered, body dumped beside river
A PRIVATE tutor on Friday was found stabbed dead in San Juan, Batangas.
The victim was identified only as “Arcel,” a member of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) community.
“Arcel” succumbed to multiple stab wounds in the back.
Prior to the gruesome find, the victim left his house at 3 a.m. on Thursday with a male companion.
The victim failed to return home the next day, prompting his family to seek the help of barangay officials.
A passerby found “Arcel’s” body beside a river at Sitio Tipaz Sulok, Bgy. Tipaz.
Recovered in the area were an ice pick and a kitchen knife.
A follow-up investigation is underway.
