The new PNP building, according to PNP chief, General Guillermo Lorenzo T. Eleazar, was built in line with the facility development program of the PNP. One of its projects is to build a decent and state-of-the-art establishment for its personnel as well as its clientele.

The building will serve as transient quarters for Police Commissioned Officers assigned at the PNP National Headquarters.

“This project was initially started last 2016 but we were not able to secure a fund from DPWH to pursue it. But on 2017, DPWH included the PNP’s multi-purpose building amounting to P298 million to its 2018 department budget,” Vera Cruz explained.

The PNP’s No. 2 official said they are very grateful to the DWPH for helping them fulfill the project which will greatly boost the morale of every PNP personnel.
