PNP-IMEG head new WV police director

PHILIPPINE National Police (PNP) chief, General Guillermo Lorenzo T. Eleazar on Wednesday installed erstwhile PNP Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group director, Brigadier Gen. Flynn E. Dongbo as the new Police Regional Office 6 (PRO^) director in Western Visayas.

Dongbo replaced his classmate from Philippine Military Academy ‘Bigkis Lahi’ Class of 1990, Brig Gen. Rolando F. Miranda, who will be retiring from the police force on Monday, November 15.

Miranda became the PRO6 director last December 1.

Another member of PMA Class 1990, PRO10 director in Northern Mindanao, Brig. Gen. Rolando B. Anduyan will also retire from the force on November 25. He has been the PRO10 director since October 29, 2019.

Dongbo will be replaced as PNP-IMEG director by Brig. Gen. Oliver A. Enmodias, a member of PMA ‘Makatao’ Class of 1989 who used to be the Deputy Director of the PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group.

Enmodias will now be leading the main PNP unit tasked to go after erring police personnel specifically those involved in robbery-extortion and other corruption activities.

Eleazar also transferred Colonel Leumar U. Abugan to the PNP-CIDG from the PNP Maritime Group; Col. Fernando R. Ortega from the PNP Directorate for Plans to the PNP Drug Enforcement Group; and Col. Genaro V. Sapiera from the PNP-DEG to the PNP-MG effective Tuesday.
