PH Red Cross to deploy EMS personnel for Undas
THE Philippine Red Cross (PRC) will deploy emergency medical services (EMS) personnel for its Undas 2023 Operations across the country for free.
PRC’s volunteers and staff will provide medical assistance in bus terminals, seaports, airports, highways, memorial parks and selected thoroughfares.
“Makakaasa ang ating mga kababayan na ang mga volunteers at staff ng Philippine Red Cross ay laging una, laging handa at laging nandyan para sa kanila sa oras ng medical emergency.
I commend our staff and volunteers who help our kababayans during big events such as Undas,” PRC Chairman and CEO Richard “Dick” J. Gordon said.
During PRC’s 2022 Undas operations, the PRC treated over 3,000 individuals who had minor and major medical emergencies.
“We would like to see a culture of safety in our country. We hope every Filipino family will place importance on safety and train their family members, too, on first aid.
We do have training courses that are available to the public,” PRC Secretary-General Dr. Gwen Pang added.
