Pagsunod sa minimum health protocols, ipinaalala sa muling pagbubukas ng mga sinehan

PORMAL nang ibinalita ng Movie Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) ang pagbubukas at pagpapatuloy ng operasyon ng mga sinehan sa bansa.

Sa isang e-mail na ipinadala ng MTRCB spokesperson at executive director II na si Jose Benjamin Benaldo, sinabi nito na, “Various Cinemas/Movie theaters situated within and outside Metro Manila will finally re-open its doors to moviegoers on 10 November 2021, following the downtrend in coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases…

“The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) approved of the recommendation to de-escalate the National Capital Region to Alert level 2 from Alert level 3, in its resolution dated 04 November 2021, taking effect today 05 November 2021 until 21 November 2021.

“As more Cinemas and Movie theaters move to open its doors to the public, we encourage all moviegoers to strictly observe minimum public health standards while keeping in mind the MTRCB film ratings as guide when choosing age-appropriate film content.

“In closing, the MTRCB affirms its policy of respect and deterrence to government instrumentalities operating within the framework of their mandates as dictated by law. In the case of the resumption of Cinema operations, it shall be the IATF-MEID and the Local Government Units who shall determine implementing guidelines to uphold health and safety controls for the viewing public.”
