Ginanap na nga ngayong araw (Feb. 15, 2024) ang renewal of vows nina Sen. Chiz Escudero at Heart Evangelista sa Balesin Island.

Matatandaang dito rin ikinasal ang mag-asawa nine years ago at the same exact date also.

Habang sinusulat namin ito, ibinahagi na ni Heart Evangelista at ng Harpers Bazaar SG fashion magazine sa Instagram ang ilang official wedding photos (photographed by BJ Pascual) ng aktres wearing her fabulous bridal gown made by Lebanese fashion designer Elie Saab.

“Here comes the bride! @iamhearte is dressed in custom @eliesaabworld couture for a vow renewal ceremony with husband @escuderochiz this evening! 👰🏻‍♀️

“The woman of the hour walked down the aisle at Balesin Island Club’s Royal Villa in a beige gown that features intricate beading and a veil—a personal request from Heart Evangelista, herself,” ang deskripsyon ng Harbers Bazaar SG sa gown ni Heart.

Ayon kay Heart sa exclusive interview ng naturang fashion mag, “Elie Saab has a special place in my heart—it was actually one of the first shows I ever attended in fashion week. I’ve always loved their dreamy and romantic creations, and when I saw the custom couture dress, I knew that was it.”

Saad pa ng fashion mag, “Evangelista also adorned a meaningful bespoke necklace with diamonds that she had collected over the years, some of which were gifted by her parents and her husband.”

Ang second reception gown naman ni Heart ay mula sa kaibigan niyang Filipino fashion designer na si Michael Leyva habang si Sen. Chiz naman was wearing a Christian Dior suit for the ceremony and the reception.

Pahayag pa ni Heart sa naturang panayam, kung noong unang wedding nila in 2015 ay maraming guests, this time ay medyo intimate at kasama na ngayon ang kanyang inang si Cecilia Ongpauco na hindi nakadalo sa first wedding.

“For the ceremony itself, 2015 definitely had a bigger and guest list. This time around, we have a little over 50 people we personally handpicked to join us. It wasn’t hard to decide who we wanted to invite—these are people who have played important roles in our marriage. My mum is also here. She wasn’t at the 2015 ceremony but all is well now and I’m happy that she’s finally here. I told her, ‘You finally made it mum, but you’re nine years late!’ But we’re all good,” sey ni Heart.
