P300K marijuana seized in Cabanatuan
CABANATUAN CITY — A suspected marijuana peddler was busted following a drug sting which resulted in the confiscation from the suspect of 2.5 kilos of the illegal stuff worth over P300,000.
Acting city police commander Lt. Col. Carl Omar Fiel identified the arrested suspect as alias Jayjay, 21, of Bgy. Mabini Extension.
Police launched a buy-bust operation against the suspect in Purok 1, Bgy. San Josef Sur where some 2.5 kilos of marijuana worth P306,000 were bought from the suspect.
“Our campaign against illegal drugs has gone too far and we assure that we will continue to intensify this campaign until no more illegal dealers exist,” said acting Nueva Ecija top cop Col. Jess B. Mendez.
