Man survives leap from QC footbridge
A MAN believed to be mentally ill was injured when he jumped off a footbridge along Aurora Boulevard in Quezon City on Tuesday.
The victim, identified as Jinny Barol, 27, of Brgy. Graceville, San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan is still undergoing treatment at the East Avenue Medical Center.
A report from the Galas Police Station showed the incident occurred at about 7:55 p.m. on December 21, 2021 at a footbridge along Aurora Boulevard corner Doña Hemady Avenue, Brgy. Mariana.
Investigation conducted by PCMS Edel T Cañaveral showed that a concerned citizen informed Galas Police Station about the alleged suicide of one male person by jumping at the said foot bridge.
Policemen arrived at the scene and saw the victim slumped bloodied on the pavement.
