Man nabbed for ‘sex or blackmail’ scheme
SAN LEONARDO, Nueva Ecija — Police nabbed a 22-year-old man during an entrapment operation for allegedly blackmailing his former 18-year-old girlfriend to have sex with him or else he would post sensitive photos and video of her taken during their supposed “sex chat” on social media.
Town police head Major Jaime P. Ferrer identified the arrested suspect as John Kenneth Feliciano, farmer, single, of Bgy. Mangga, San Isidro, Nueva Ecija.
The suspect was arrested after the young victim and her 38-year-old mother, both residents of Bgy. Bonifacio here, sought help from the authorities, said Ferrer.
The victim complained that the suspect wanted to have sex with her and threatened to expose on the internet her supposed naked videos and pictures which he took during their sex chat on the phone.
“Kapag hindi nakipagkita at nakipagsex ang biktima, ipopost daw yung kuha nila na nagmamasturbate yung lalaki at yung babae pinakita ang boobs,” Ferrer told the Journal Group.
“Dyowa sila before, ayon sa girl, video-call tapos screenshot saka inirecord,” the police chief added.
Ferrer said they wasted no time and launched an entrapment operation against the suspect, which resulted in his arrest at a cemetery in Bgy. Rizal at 7:30 p.m.
Recovered from the suspect was a mobile phone allegedly containing the said sexually-explicit materials.
Ferrer said charges for grave coercion were filed against the arrested suspect before the provincial prosecutor’s office.
