CALOOCAN City Mayor Oscar “Oca” Malapitan is happy to announce that five other courses at the University of Caloocan City were awarded the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

Mayor Oca said these includes the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Bachelor of Science in Accounting Information System, Bachelor of Secondary Education Majors in English and Science, Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education Major in Home Economics courses for their compliance to CHED standards to provide quality education for students.

The city chief executive congratulate and thanked the university leadership led by University OIC Prof. Marilyn De Jesus, Vice President for Academics Atty. Roderick Vera, College of Education Dean Ramona Prado and College of Business and Accountancy Dean Dr.Shirly Saragcon.

It can be recalled that last month, five other courses were also awarded from the university’s College of Business and Accountancy.

Only last year, four other courses in Computer Studies and one in Criminology were also awarded COPC by CHED.

“Naging legasiya na ang de-kalidad na edukasyon sa panahon ng ating Punong-Lungsod Mayor Oca Malapitan. Inspirado ang pamunuan, mga guro at maging mag-aaral ng UCC. Sa kaniyang liderato lamang nagawaran ng COPC ang unibersidad dahil sa pagtutok nito sa layuning magkapagbigay ng de-kalidad at libreng edukasyon para sa mga kabataan ng lungsod,” Prof. De Jesus said in his statement.
