NAGING emosyonal si Lovi Poe sa media conference ng kauna-unahan niyang serye bilang Kapamilya, ang Philippine adaptataion ng Flower of Evil, nang papurihan siya ng mga kasamahan para sa dedikasyon at husay na ipinakita niya sa trabaho.

Paliwanag ng aktres habang nagpupunas ng luha, “No, because it’s been great working with this team. You know, it’s my first time to work here as a Kapamilya and I’ve been truly blessed to work with Viu, number one. Eh, pangarap ko kasi ever since talagang, since I’m a huge K-drama fan, dinownload ko talaga ’yung Viu, and now, gumagawa ako ng proyekto with you. And ever since I’ve been a huge, huge fan of abs-cbn and also Dreamscape (Entertainment) so, just to be given the opportunity to work with such an amazing team, it’s just great. And, you know, it’s my first project, transition was not the easiest thing.”

Ang Flower of Evil ang kauna-unahang Viu original adaptation drama series mula sa Pilipinas. Mapapanood ito sa 16 markets — Philippines, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Myanmar at South Africa — 48 oras bago ipalabas sa telebisyon sa Pilipinas.

Nagpasalamat din si Lovi ang co-stars, mula sa dream leading man na si Piolo Pascual, si Denise Laurel hanggang sa mga miyembro ng production team, sa mainit na pag-welcome at pagsuporta sa kanya nang “manganay” siya sa bubble.

“Naiyak ako kasi when you mentioned Patrick (isa sa production staff), I had my moments like that, the audioman, and ’yun, one of our cameramen, too, so I was just having… my first day on the set was like difficult ’coz parang all of a sudden may new environment, everything was new, everyone was new and it was hard. And as the day went by, talagang para akong… parang I wasn’t myself in the beginning. And I was having such a hard time but with the help of everyone, it felt great.”

“So kilig” nga i-describe ng aktres ang pagkakataong makapareha si Piolo sa isang serye.

Aniya, “It’s always the same feeling. siyempre ’di mawawala ’yung excitement, kasi nga, first of all, isa nga sa paborito ko talaga ang Flower of Evil and the fact that I get to do this project with everyone, this amazing cast, and also with my mahal, Piolo. Hahaha! So, wow! Just like that, ganun pa rin? Anyway, move on, girl… specially after seeing ’yung first two episodes namin kagabi, parang ’yung ecitement ko mas tumaas hanggang sa level 100. Kasi du’n ko nakita talaga ’yung quality, eh. Kasi, siyempre, when we were doing the shoot, we were doing it one scene at a time and then we were jumping from one episode to another, so, mahirap itahi sa minds namin but when I watched the first two episodes, I was just really so excited for everyone to see. Kasi that was just the tip of the iceberg. Parang build up pa lang ’yon and we’re gettng there, to the most amazing part.”

Bilang mag-asawa sa istorya (ang misteryosong metal craftsman na si Jacob at maprinsipyong police detective na si Iris), natural na may intimate scene sina Lovi at Piolo sa Flower of Evil.

Shower scene ito na sabi nga ng aktor ay very sensual pero tastefully done.

Nabanggit ni Lovi ang tungkol sa abs ni Papa P at hindi rin nakaligtas sa huli ang pagiging sobrang sexy ng kapareha.

Biro nga ni Piolo, “bitin” ang shower scene na ikinatawa naman ni Lovi.

Ang Flower of Evil ay mapapanood sa Viu bukas, June 23 at 24, at sa Kapamilya Channel at A2Z naman sa June 25 at 26.
