Lone bettor wins P12M Mega Lotto jackpot
A LONE bettor bagged the P12 million jackpot prize for the Mega Lotto 6/45 draw on Monday night, according to Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).
The bettor got the total jackpot prize of P12,171,239.80 who correctly guessed the winning combinations 26-43-11-18-05-45.
The winner has one year from the draw date to claim the prize, as specified in Republic Act (RA) No. 1169, the law on PCSO lotteries.
As provided under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law, lotto winnings of more than P10,000 shall be subject to a 20% tax.
To claim their prizes, the PCSO said the winners must go to PCSO’s main office in Mandaluyong City and present their tickets and two IDs or identification cards so they could get their checks.
Last Feb. 27 draw of the Mega Lotto, two bettors from San Pablo City, Laguna hit the jackpot prize and shared P11.6 million.
Mega Lotto is drawn every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 9 p.m.
Meanwhile, the jackpot for Grand Lotto 6/55 draw on the same day was not hit as per PCSO’s advisory.
The winning digits were 14-29-09-06-38-15 for a jackpot worth P29,700,000.
