‘Lolo’ stabbed to death by drinking buddy in Navotas
POLICE arrested a sexagenarian man who stabbed to death his drinking buddy following their heated altercation Friday evening in Navotas City.
The suspect was arrested in a follow-up operation conducted by Navotas Police Intelligence Section after a witness pointed him as the one who stabbed the 57-year-old victim from Barangay Tangos North to death.
The investigation was conducted by P/SSgt. Karl Benzon Dela Cruz of Navotas Police homicide section showed that while the victim and the suspect were having a drinking spree along Badeo 5, Oliveros Dike, Tangos North, a heated argument ensued between them at around 7:45 p.m.
At the height of their argument, the suspect suddenly pulled out a bladed weapon and stabbed his drinking buddy repeatedly in the body.
The victim was rushed to Navotas City Hospital but was declared dead upon arrival by his attending physician.
