Lazada shop in Cabanatuan robbed

CABANATUAN CITY — Four unidentified armed men robbed a local branch of Lazada Hub in this city and carted away the day’s collection money worth P1.2-million.

The suspects also fled with the security guards cal.9mm pistol and the employees’ six mobile phones.

Robbed was the Lazada branch located on29th Street in Kapitan Pepe Subdivision, Bgy. San Josef Sur, this city.

Nueva Ecija police head Col. Rhoderick Campo said the heist transpired at 8:55 p.m. on Saturday.

Probers said the four suspects, who were armed with short firearms, barged inside the store and disarmed the two security guards on-duty.

After which, the robbers tied the firm’s two male employees using plastic cable wires and locked them inside the main office.

The suspects then proceeded to the finance office and took from the steel vault the firm’s earnings for the day worth P1.221,501 before fleeing on foot.
