Kampanya kontra-COVID 19 para sa PNP regional offices, inilunsad
Sabi ni ‘Nay, Maghugas ng Kamay
UPANG mas mapaigting ang kampanya laban sa COVID-19, nagsanib pwersa ang Philippine National Police (PNP), PNP Officers’ Ladies Club (PNP OLC), Soroptimist International (SI) of Kaagapay, at Manila Water Foundation (MWF) sa paglulunsad ng hygiene campaign na Sabi ni ‘Nay, Maghugas ng Kamay: Lingap Kapulisan para sa 17 PNP Regional Offices sa buong bansa.
Pormal na pinirmahan ng mga partido ang kasunduan sa ginanap na PNP Flag Raising Ceremony sa Camp Crame, Quezon City noong June 28. Nabigyang diin sa nasabing seremonya ang mga ugnayan ng PNP, kabilang ang Deed of Donation (DOD) at Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) ng PNP, PNP OLC, SI Kaagapay, at MWF. Sa ilalim ng kasunduan, magpapatayo ng multi-faucet hand hygiene facilities sa 17 PNP Regional Offices na layuning itaguyod ang maayos kalusugan ng sangkapulisan at mga miyembro ng komunidad nito.
“Sabi ni ‘Nay Maghugas ng Kamay is a project that has been initially envisioned to happen one year ago. [The Program] will provide WASH areas in partnership with the Manila Water Foundation, the PNP OLC, and the Soroptimist International all geared towards cleanliness—aligning our projects at the PNP OLC and the Soroptimist International with [PNP’s] intensified cleanliness policy,” ika ni PNP OLC Adviser Rosalie Eleazar sa kanyang mensahe noong seremonya.
Pangangasiwaan naman ng MWF, ang social development arm ng Manila Water, ang pagpapatayo ng mga pasilidad sa loob ng mga pinagkasunduang project sites.
“MWF is honored to lead this synergy which enables our mission of bringing WASH for all communities. We will be able to protect the health and well-being of our police force as they carry out their noble duty of ensuring a safe and secured place to live, work and do business,” sabi ni MWF Executive Director Reginald Andal.
Inaasahang matatapos ang pagpapatayo ng mga pasilidad sa Setyembre 2021.
