JOURNAL Group of Publications veteran reporter Jun I. Legaspi was among those cited for ‘sharing light in moments of darkness’ at AirAsia’s Stellar Awards 2022 held March 22, 2022 at the AirAisa office at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3.

Legaspi received his award from Carlo Carongoy, AirAsia Assistant Manager for External Communications and Public Affairs.

The veteran reported thanked his Journal Group family for the award, stressing that “the accomplishment of one, is the accomplishment of everybody.” He then dedicated his shining moment to Journal Group’s late editor-in-chief Augusto B. Villanueva who had served as light for the publication’s newsmen and newshens, as well as employees.

Ricky Isla, CEO of AirAsia Philippines, the world’s best low-cost airline, also gave an inspirational speech during the momentous event.

Isla has over 40 years of experience in domestic and global operations, including retail and sales distribution, business development, marketing and innovation, and general management across diverse industries such as aviation, telecommunications, property development, and consumer and retail companies.
